Zimbabwe’s Hamilton Masakadza score 184* runs against Kenya at Harare in the 5th match of the current ODI series between the two on 18 October. Thus he became the only player in the history of the ODIs to score 150 plus score twice in the same series. He remained unbeaten on 184 off 168 balls with the help of 17 fours and 5 sixes.
Masakadza had scored 156 in the first match of the series on 12 October.
Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Matthew Hayden, Sanath Jayasuriya, Vivian Richards, Chris Gayle, Adam Gilchrist, Herschelle Gibbs, Brian Lara and Andrew Symonds have scored 150 plus score for more then once in their respective ODI career but no one from them has scored 150 plus twice in the same series.
Only Sanath Jayasuriya is close to Masakadza as he had scored two 150 plus score in a span of 3 days but not in the same series. Sri Lankan opener scored 152 on first July 2006 against England at Leeds during Netwest series and then went on to score 157 against Netherlands at Amstelveen on 4 July 2006. However it was different series.
