The word 'Stadium' has been originated from the Greek word 'Stadion,' which literally mean a place where people stand. Staiums built for football are quite common. It contains a football pitch with a running track, two netted (goal) posts at both ends and galleries (also known as terraces) on all sides for people to sit and enjoy the game.
