India misses Dravid at Nagpur

Not because Indian middle order failed at Vadodara or not because some of the players are injured but because of tradition India will miss the service of The Wall Rahul Dravid at Nagpur when they will play against Australia on Wednesday in the second ODI of the series. Since his debut Rahul Dravid never miss any match here in his in-laws city.
Rahul Dravid made his test debut in 1996 and played his first test at Nagpur in 1997-98 against Sri Lanka in which he scored 92 runs. Since then Nagpur hosted 5 test matches and Dravid played in all of them with an impressive average of 64.71. He has scored 453 runs with one hundred and 3 fifties.
Nagpur’s VCA stadium witnessed 6 ODI matches since Dravid made his international entry and The Bangalorian played all those six ODIs and scored 392 runs @98.00 and with the strike rate of 115.29. He has scored 116 against Sri Lanka in March 1999 and then 4 consecutive half centuries before out for only 7 against Australia on 14 October two years back.
