Youngest Centurion

One of Australia's greatest batsmen Neil Harvey was a gloriously elegant left-hander who remains his country's youngest centurion. He was 19 years and 122 days old when he stroked 153 against India in Melbourne in 1947-48.
Born on 8 October (1928) Harvey followed up with 112 in his next Test innings at Headingley the following summer against England in the Ashes.
Harevy was the youngest centurion then but with the time changes records have been broken he is now at No. 12 in the list of youngest centurions. Bangladeshi Mohammad Ashraful holds the records with a hundred at the age of 16 years and 364 days when he scored 114 against Sri Lanka at Colombo (ssc) in 2001-02.
On the list of top 12 (including Neil Harvey) only Mohammad Wasim (Pakistan) and Henry Vivian (New Zealand) could not make any more hundred in their respective test career,
Sachin Tendulkar is the youngest Indian and 3rd youngest in the history by scoring his maiden hundred at the age of 17 years and 112 days when he stroked 119* at Old Trafford, Manchester on 14 August 1990.
Interestingly Pakistan’s Ali Naqvi and Azhar Mahmood became the first pair of debutants to score centuries in the same innings. They have done it at Rawalpindi against South Africa in 1997.
