Both Openers Out in Nervous Nineties

Australian opener Shane Watson and Simon Katich lost there wickets in the nervous nineties on Saturday against Pakistan on the first day of the Boxing Day test at Melbourne.
This provides the only 4th instance in the test history that both openers out in nervous nineties of a test innings. First time it has happened at Lahore in 1978-79 when India’s Sunil Gavaskar and Chetan Chauhan out on 97 and 93 respectively against Pakistan.
Out of four such occasions twice has been done by the Indian opener.
