Virender Sehwag batted magnificently against Sri Lanka on Thursday at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai during the 3rd test and scored 284 runs. This is the highest runs by any Indian batsmen in a single day of the test match. However first three position and 4 of the top-five position occupied by Sehwag himself. This is the 3rd highest score by a batsman in the test history with Sir Don Bradman is on top with 309 runs on the first day of the Leeds test between Australia and England in 1930.
